A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, I have twenty years experience gained in the field of human resources at Director level and have worked internationally across a range of business sectors.
Since setting up Worksmart HR in 2014, I have been working with range of businesses to strengthen their people management capability and use my deep knowledge and expertise to advise clients over how to take a pro-active approach to the HR challenges that arise in relation to the people they employee.
I enjoy working with a range of partners that represent a rich network of like-minded professionals. This enables Worksmart HR to offer its clients a wide range of services, such as legal advice, coaching and training as well as specialist HR analytics, HR audits and employee engagement surveys.
During my career I have managed many difficult situations and conversations in the workplace and have first-hand seen the huge benefit of adopting an approach that helps those in conflict communicate about the concerns they have and work together to agree a solution. This led to my interest in alternative dispute resolution and to qualify as an Accredited Mediator, working independently to help people discuss and resolve workplace and employment disputes.
